A Trip To The City That Then Stole My Heart - London Post!

Hello again to everyone!

I hope my first post went down well. I'm still nervous when posting but I got a lovely comment from Elegant Chaos which made me feel much more confident!! So go check out her blog if you're reading this, her picture's are so gorgeous!

So this is my London post!! In case you're unaware, I went to London in my summer holidays for around a week and I think it's safe to say I want to go back asap. The city itself was so beautiful, the old fashioned building's reminded me of my beloved Edinburgh yet the building's in London were so much more captivating. As any tourist, my family and I went sightseeing; London Bridge, the London Eye, Green Park and Buckingham Palace, the Shard as well which is so unbelievably big you can't understand until you are next to it looking straight up! I'm probably sounding like an excited school girl but it's LONDON!

We stayed near King's Cross and St Pancreas Station and explored after unpacking, letting me marvel at this beautiful city. Walking around London, it almost feels like you're abroad which in a sense I guess you are. It's the capital city of the United Kingdom and I think that this city may have stolen my heart.

I also got to shop in Oxford Street, the amount of beautiful shops filled me with longing to have much more money with me, so much beautiful things to buy! I went to the Topshop Oxford Street store and managed to get a bag, but left without anything else. However I did managed to buy some utterly gorgeous black, heeled, buckle boots from Topshop in Selfridges, which were the ones I've been lusting after for quite some time.

As well in Selfridges I managed to finally get a Nars blusher and MAC eyeshadow. The MAC counter sadly didn't have my eyepencil though, which was unfortunate. A cheeky purchase of some Origin's product's and that was the went to my shopping. For now.

We all then went to Hamley's which my baby brother David adored. While my family were preoccupied I waltzed off to the small MAC store I had found on Google and managed to get my coffee eyepencil; three cheers for Google!

The main reason we can to London was because I was so desperate to go to The Making of Harry Potter and we did!! Any potterheads out there will understand my excitement over this! I won't give too much of the tour away or flood this post with photos but I will say this; it's truly amazing and honestly takes your breath away. The store itself is incredible and the tour surpassed my exceptions, I wish I could go back with all my heart - "Hogwarts will always be there to welcome you home."

These are some of the 'tourist photos' - doesn't London look so gorgeous?

And some from The Making of Harry Potter!!

As well as my first EVER Bubble Tea! Pearl milk Tea, so odd but yummy.

So that was my trip to London, thank you for reading!
