Hello everyone!
Sorry for the lack of posts the last month, I was so busy getting ready for holiday and then being on holiday I've had no time to grab a computer and post!
But there is my *cough* belated holiday haul!
There's one thing about going away to a hot country I always need to have; a moisture rich conditioner. And what better than Aussie Miracle Moist? This conditioner always leaves my hair feeling so smooth, soft and healthy. It also has a gorgeous smell, like bubblegum - what more could a girl ask for?
Before going away I decided to road test some new moisturisers as i like my skin to be soft and protected in the sun, especially after being in the sea.
After hearing some good things about the Palmers Moisturizing Oil I picked it up and now can't seem to get enough of it! I use this after being in the shower as advised and it dries quickly (great for the morning rush) leaving my skin smooth and soft for the rest of the day. It's different to the other moisturisers in the Palmers range as an oil, however Palmers moisturisers have always been a favourite of mine - their rich formula hydrates my skin all day and leaves a heavenly smell of cocoa.
The Garnier 7 Day Moisturiser was on a deal at the time; I've always been really curious about how well this moisturiser is so I grabbed that too at last minute. This also dries relatively quickly, but I don't think my skin was really that moisturised after seven days without reapplying. Again, I purchased the cocoa butter formula because of my love for the smell.
I've never really tried out a Simple prroduct before but I was wanting a rich facial moisturiser that felt light enough to use everyday, so forth came Simple Replenishing Rich Moisturiser. I wouldn't say it's one of the best moisturisers I've used but it worked well abroad; it didn't feel heavy or sticky on my skin and kept it hydrated.
The Lee Stafford Lightening Spray because my hair has always been darker at the bottom since I dyed it darker a few years ago. I would love to have light brown hair but I can't stand the hassle of roots. Using this my hair did become lighter though on holiday I didn't dry my hair, so I think to fully understand how well it works I'll have to give it another go back here in Britian.
The Tresemme Texture Style Definition spray was an impulse buy by I Covet Thee. This spray gives my heavy hair more volume and loosens out my style, giving it a wavy-don't-care-unfinish-finish. I use it almost everyday, here and while in Spain.
So there is my very very late holiday haul. I hope it was a good read and I'll be posting more often from now on! Til then,
