2013 has been another interesting year for fashion. I'm still shuddering over the heeled trainers many pranced around in. There have been many do's and don'ts this year - as of the past years - but as we slowly step into a new year, we should look more to the future rather than grimace at the past examples.
So here's my little prediction for 2014..
Spring has always been the season for pastel colours and elegant shapes. This year is no different. Simplicity appears to be key this coming season; for a minimalist lover, simplicity is one of my best friends. The phrase 'less is more' could not but be applied to this oncoming season; simple shapes are making there way in pastel pinks, bold yellows and turquoise greens.
Pastels are back, but they are bolder than before. The lady-like elegance is still there but the devilish lingerie pow of the past season is continuing into our future.
So don't put away your dress slips just yet.
