Chanel Supermarket Chic

So it's time to talk about that Chanel show. Yes, the great 'supermarket sweep of chic' as it's been dubed. Completely crazy or incredibly inventive?


For me, the show was incredible. The glossy models pursude the aisles landed with items such as Chanel spaghetti, water and alcohol. Fiji water hasn't got anything on this. Cara Delveingne was in her element and grabbed a bottle of alcohol before she made her way to the checkout. 


Kendall Jenner also made an appearance at her highest fashion appearance to date. Previously in Marc Jacobs and Givenchy, Kendall has been easing her way into fashion week in many cities. I wasn't 100% sure of Kendall and her walk, but dressed in grey coat and carrying a wire basket she looked at ease and utterly in her element. 


Now, many were slightly critical of Mr Lagerfeld's new catwalk design but hello  this is the man who shipped in a glacier for his a/w catwalk as well as creating a globe highlighting every Chanel store IN THE WORLD. Karl Lagerfeld is a visionary, whether you see it or not. The inventiveness of his mind continues to astound all of the fash pack and is something you must admire.
